Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Novelosity. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at contact@novelosity.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are otherwise deemed harmful to the community.

3. User-Generated Content

Authors retain ownership of their original creative works submitted to Novelosity. By publishing on the Platform, you grant Novelosity a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform.

You agree that your content will not:

• Infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Contain unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or abusive material
• Include explicit adult content without proper content rating designation
• Constitute spam, plagiarism, or AI-generated bulk submissions without disclosure
• Promote hate speech, discrimination, or violence

4. Content Moderation

Novelosity reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any content at our discretion. Submitted novels undergo editorial review before publication. Decisions made by editors and admins regarding content are final but may be appealed by contacting us.

5. Virtual Currency (Coins)

Novelosity may offer a virtual currency system ("Coins") for unlocking premium chapters. Coins have no real-world monetary value, are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Coins system at any time.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest content in an automated manner without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

7. Intellectual Property

The Novelosity name, logo, design, and all Platform software are the property of Renegade Hides LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use our branding without express written permission.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renegade Hides LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of Novelosity.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of DuPage County, Illinois.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
